The Master of Islamic Studies (MIS) degree is designed to meet the needs of those interested in pursuing their studies at higher level in this area. It is also aimed at developing specialisations in various areas of Islamic studies, such as Usuluddin (Theology), Shariah (Islamic Law and Jurisprudence), Dakwah (Preaching of Islam), and Sirah (Islamic History).
Bachelor degree in any field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent as accepted by Senate; OR
Bachelor degree in any field with CGPA less than 2.50, can be accepted with a minimum of 5 years working experience; OR
Any equivalent qualifications recognised by Government.
Be at least 35 years old on 1st of January (application year) AND
Possess STPM/HSC (minimum 1 principal)/Diploma/Matriculation or equivalent; AND
Passed Flexible Entry Assessment; AND
Possess prior learning experience AND / OR knowledge relevant to the programme applied.

Full settlement of semester fees before the commencement of first tutorial will be entitled to 5% discount.
The total fees quoted are based on the minimum expected period to successfully complete the programme
Examination fees vary and subject to change based on its format.
