Programme Synopsis

The Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM) is designed to cater to the needs of those seeking career as junior executives in HRM, in both business and non-business organisations. In order to qualify for the diploma, a minimum of 90 credit hours of approved courses must be completed.

Kemasukan Biasa

i. Memiliki sijil SPM* atau setaraf dengan minimum 3 kredit; atau

ii. Lulus STPM atau setaraf dengan minimum Gred C (NGMP 2.00) dalam mana-mana mata pelajaran; atau

iii. Lulus STAM dengan minimum gred Maqbul; atau

iv. Lulus SKM Tahap 3 dalam bidang berkaitan; DAN
• Memiliki SPM* dengan minimum kredit dalam 1 mata pelajaran; DAN
• Melalui program pengukuhan (sekiranya perlu) atau

v. Lulus sijil (Tahap 3 MQF) atau setaraf; atau

vi. Lulus UEC dengan minimum Gred B dalam 3 mata pelajaran; atau

vii. Lulus O-Level dengan minimum Gred C dalam 3 mata pelajaran; atau

viii. Lulus Sijil Kolej Komuniti yang setara dengan Tahap 3 MQF dalam bidang berkaitan; DAN
• Memiliki SPM* dengan minimum kredit dalam 1 mata pelajaran; DAN
• Melalui program pengukuhan (sekiranya perlu) atau

ix. Kelayakan lain yang diiktiraf setara dengannya.

Syarat kompetensi Bahasa Inggeris bagi pelajar antarabangsa: Minimum IELTS 5.0 atau yang setaraf

SPM* = bermaksud lulus SPM dengan sekurang-kurangnya lulus Bahasa Melayu dan Sejarah.

ATAU

Kemasukan APEL
• Warganegara Malaysia; dan
• Calon hendaklah berumur 20 tahun dan ke atas pada tahun permohonan dibuat; dan
• Mempunyai pengalaman kerja/pengalaman pembelajaran terdahulu yang berkaitan; dan
• Lulus Penilaian APEL bagi Diploma (yang dikendalikan oleh OUM).

Normal Entry

i. SPM* or equivalent with minimum 3 credits; or

ii. Pass STPM or equivalent with minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject; or

iii. Pass STAM with minimum grade of Maqbul; or

iv. Pass SKM Level 3 in related field; AND
• SPM* with minimum a credit in 1 subject; AND
• Through consolidation programs (if necessary) or

v. Pass certificate (MQF Level 3) or equivalent; or

vi. Pass UEC with minimum Grade B in 3 subjects; or

vii. Pass O-Level with minimum Grade C in 3 subjects; or

viii. Pass Community College Certificate equivalent to MQF Level 3 in related field; AND
• SPM* with minimum a credit in 1 subject; AND
• Through consolidation programs (if necessary) or

ix. Other recognised equivalent qualifications.

English language competency requirements for international students: Minimum IELTS 5.0 or equivalent

SPM * = means passing SPM with at least a pass in Bahasa Melayu and History.

OR

APEL entry
• Malaysian; and
• Candidate must be 20 years old and above in the year of application being made; and
• Have previous working experience/learning relevant to the field applied; and
• Pass APEL Assessment for a Diploma (conducted by OUM).


Note:
  1. The provisional offer of admission will be revoked if the candidate:
    1. Fails to submit evidence of qualification within the stipulated date; or
    2. Does not meet the entry requirements of the University.
  2. Entry requirements are subject to change as stipulated by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency.

* International students are required to pay registration fees of RM1,000 and an additional 20% for the tuition fees.

Discount for the Physically Challenged Learners (OKU) and Senior Citizens

The University offers 50% discount for:

  • Senior citizens aged 60 and above on registration date; and
  • Physically challenged learners – a valid Orang Kelainan Upaya (OKU) is required.

These discounts are for subject fees only and are not applicable for research and other fees. The discounts are also not valid for second time registration and repeating of subjects.

Learners who receive this discount are not entitled to other discounts and promotions.
