The Centre for Learner Affairs (CLA) hosted an inspiring Master’s Project Paper Writing Workshop at Menara OUM, Kelana Jaya, Selangor, in collaboration with the OUM Graduate Centre (OUMGC) on 22 March.
The event drew energetic participation from 83 Master’s learners from various parts of Malaysia, and a Master of Education learner from the Maldives.
The workshop aimed to provide guidance and assistance to learners in diligently and efficiently planning, developing, and completing their Master’s Project.
CLA Director Encik Razif Ramli kick-started the event by commending the students, particularly those from outside the Klang Valley, for investing their time and money to attend the workshop. Assoc Prof Dr Zahir Osman, Dean of the Faculty of Business & Management, then presented comprehensive and useful tips for writing the project paper effectively.
The workshop continued with Prof Datin Dr Santhi Raghavan, Vice President/Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Learner Experience and Technology), sharing in-depth insight into developing and administering survey questions for the master’s project.
Assoc. Prof. Dr Shishi Kumar Piaralal, Director of the OUM Graduate Centre, concluded the workshop by emphasising the roles and responsibilities of OUMGC and the Master’s project paper administration process and encouraging the students to complete the Master’s Project.
CLA conducts Master’s Project Paper Writing Workshops every semester to provide support for learners in all the master’s programmes at OUM.
