Job Responsibilities:

  • Teach, develop and coordinate the delivery of courses and undertake research and publications in relevant areas;
  • Develop learning materials for relevant subject areas – in particular, modules for specific programmes;
  • Ensure that learning and assessment materials fulfil the expected outcomes for the relevant courses and programmes;
  • Ensure that all programme standards and codes of practice for programme accreditation are complied with;
  • Ensure that the programmes offered remain viable, up-to-date and are at the highest quality possible.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least a master’s degree from a recognised institution in one of the fields stated above. Applicants with a PhD qualification or are currently pursuing PhD will be given preference;
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching experience in an institution of higher learning;
  • Able to communicate and work well with people at all levels;
  • Able to work under pressure and practice a flexible teaching style;
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English;
  • Knowledgeable in teaching methodology;
  • IT-savvy and able to conduct classes online;
  • Preferably have prior teaching experience.

NON-ACADEMIC POSITIONS

DIRECTOR 

(Location: Kota Kinabalu and Tawau)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that the Learning Centre achieves the financial performance targets in terms of student intake, student retention and resource optimization;
  2. Ensure that student intake target is achieved through marketing activities in managed areas, in line with the guidelines and policies set by the Management;
  3. Improve the retention rate of students in Learning Centre by enriching the student experience through the provision of excellent customer service, organization of student activities and strengthening rapport with students;
  4. Ensure the smooth operation of teaching and learning in Learning Centre, which covers the following:-
      • Managing student admission and registration
      • Scheduling tutorials
      • Assessment and examination
      • Academic counseling and tutoring if the needs arise
  1. Ensure the smooth running of tutorials through proper tutorial scheduling, work with the Tutor Development Unit to identify qualified tutors for efficient tutor management;
  2. Ensure that examinations are conducted efficiently by ensuring the security and confidentiality of examination materials;
  3. Ensure effective management of the Learning Centre including proper maintenance of equipment and facilities besides ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the premises;
  4. Ensure effective and prudent financial management by strictly adhering to all policies set by the Management;
  5. Assume responsibility in overseeing, guiding and developing  Learning Centre staff to reach their potential and in achievingorganizational objectives;
  6. All other duties assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Master’s Degree or PhD in any discipline
  • Minimum 10 years relevant working experience with at least 5 years in managerial capacity; preferably in the education sector
  • Able to communicate and work well with people from all levels
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, highly motivated and results oriented
  • Independent and able to work well under pressure
  • Experience in managing an effective team

EXECUTIVE

(Location:  Simpang Renggam and Kuala Lipis )

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director/Acting Director in the administration and management of the Learning Centre
  • Assist and be involved in the administration of student activities
  • Assist in marketing activities

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
  • Good interpersonal skills, communication and coordination skills
  • Mature and pleasant
  • Able to communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and verbal

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

(Location:  Simpang Renggam and Kuala Lipis )

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director/Deputy Director/Executive in the administration and management of the Learning Centre
  • Assist and be involved in the administration of student activities
  • Assist in marketing activities

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least Diploma in any discipline
  • Good interpersonal skills, communication and coordination skills
  • Mature and pleasant
  • Able to communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and verbal
