METEOR Holds Health & Wellness Programme for Staff

In a compelling address at the opening of the METEOR Group Health & Wellness Programme, YBhg Dato’ Naharudin Ali, the CEO of METEOR Group, emphasised the significance of health, money, and time in life. He said, “There are 3 important things in life – health, money and time. When you’re young, you have time and health, but no money. When you’re middle-aged, you have money and health, but no time. When you’re old, you have money and time, but no health.” More than 100 staff members participated in the programme on 5 December. The Programme Director of Bachelor of Medical and Health Sciences, En. Nurhan Norris Ma Weng Chuen, delivered a brief talk on lifestyle diseases, shedding light on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The programme featured SOCSO health screenings conducted by a team of medical professionals from Poliklink Puncak in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. Additionally, eye screenings for glaucoma and cataracts were provided by staff from KPJ Healthcare. The METEOR Group Health & Wellness Programme not only underscored the importance of health but also provided practical support for staff members to take proactive steps towards a healthier future.
