The CEO of Institute of Health and Sciences (IIHS), Dr Kithsiri Edirisinghe, had on 20 January paid a visit to President/Vice-Chancellor Prof Dato’ Dr Mansor Fadzil to explore the possibility of introducing the Doctor of Nursing programme in Sri Lanka.
Present was Programme Director Dr Rashidah Shahruddin who provided an overview of the programme to Dr Kithsiri. IIHS is one the OUM’s international partners, offering mainly nursing programmes at bachelor and master levels to Sri Lankan nurses who wish to upgrade their qualifications. Also present during the meeting was Registrar Assoc Prof Dr Ahmad Izanee Awang.
