The Bachelor of Political Science (BPS) is designed to fulfill individuals’ needs who are interested to pursue careers in politics, public administration or corporate management. Nowadays, many individuals are interested to learn and to be involved in politics – either those serving in public and private sectors, politicians, businessmen or others.
The programme aims to develop knowledge and specific skills to students in study local and international politics through various courses which offer wide and complex scope. Students will be exposed to political knowledge related to theories and political philosophies; like political comparison, international relations, politics economy and politics sociology – through the comprehensive teaching and learning method.

Normal Entry
i. Pass in STPM or equivalent with a minimum Gred C (NGMP 2.0) in any two (2) subjects; Or
ii. Pass in STAM (Level Jayyid); Or
iii. Pass UEC with a minimum Gred B in 5 subjects; Or
iv. Pass Matriculation/Foundation from any UA/Private HEP/Institution that is allowed to offer foundation program with a CGPA of 2.00; Or
v. Pass Diploma (MQF Level 4) with a minimum CGPA 2.00; Or
vi. Other recognised equivalent qualification.

- Possess an APEL.A certificate from MQA for admission into Bachelor programmes.

Discount for the Physically Challenged Learners (OKU) and Senior Citizens
The University offers 50% discount for:
1. Senior citizens aged 60 and above on registration date; and
2. Physically challenged learners – a valid Orang Kelainan Upaya (OKU) is required.
The discounts are not valid for second time registration and repeating of subjects.
Learners who receive this discount are not entitled to other discounts and promotions.
